Thanks to all that attended and took part in the memorial for Jerry at Fat Turtle on July 30, 2017. It was an honor to be a part of the event, which was organized by Ida “Cookie” Brown and was attended a host of celebrated musicians, who dedicated their performances to Jerry, along with many friends and fans.
Jerry E. Harris, well known in local and national Jazz circles, passed away on May 7, 2017. He was a staple at fine St. Thomas venues such as Fat Turtle, Northside Bistro, and Tavern on the Waterfront.
