Robert Leonard has spent time on the rosters of many of the top bands on St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. The Ivanna Eudora Kean High School graduate obtained his B.A. in Music Education at the University of the Virgin Islands. He worked his way through college as a member of Eddie and the Movements, which later became simply Movements, and then Jam Band.
Since then, he has worked extensively with the Pearls Band, Imaginations Brass, Deep Unda Kova, and Starlites. He now performs by demand at quality venues, for private organizations and with select ensembles including Full Circle, VI Cats at Tavern on the Waterfront on Friday nights, and his own band, On Target.
Other ventures include Music Director for the Virgin Islands Calypso Association, producer of local and BVI Calypso Tents, commissions by the U.S. Virgin Islands Carnival Committee, Music Director and Accompanist at Pistarckle Theater for summer camps and season productions, and creator of commercial jingles for local and national ad agencies. Robert also plays steel pan occasionally with the St. Thomas All Stars and at local resorts and for private engagements.

On Target provides live entertainment, including Pop, R&B, Steel Pan, Jazz, Calypso, Reggae music; DJ services; Public Address (PA) systems; and Master of Ceremonies services for island weddings and events, restaurants, night clubs and private parties.
