About Robert Leonard and RSL Productions…
 “On Target” means precise… Music that hits the spot. Reknowned one-man orchestra Robert Leonard (better known as “On Target”) provides customized disc jockey (D.J.) services as well as live performances for weddings, family reunions, business functions and other events. In addition to solo engagements, Robert also creates real steel pan combos and bands for you and your special guests. Robert maintains his own sound system, which can adequately serve intimate and large venues, for music or presentations.
Robert Leonard, has been entertaining audiences throughout the Caribbean, South America and the U.S. mainland for many years, beginning with his high school days. He has spent time on the rosters of many of the top bands on St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. The Ivanna Eudora Kean High School graduate obtained his B.A. in Music Education at the University of the Virgin Islands. He worked his way through college as a member of Eddie and the Movements, which later became simply Movements, and then JamBand. Since then, he has worked with the Pearls Band, Imaginations Brass, Deep Unda Kova, and Starlites. He now performs by demand at quality venues, for private organizations and select ensembles, including V.I.P. Band. Robert has also released a CD entitled “On Target”. Other ventures include Music Director for the Virgin Islands Calypso Association, producer of Calypso Tents, and creator of commercial jingles for local and national ad agencies. Besides providing studio services for Caribbean artists such as Mighty Waggy, Figgy, Reflector, Big T and TrashRow, Robert Leonard has also provided technical services and talent for Moxie Marketing, Orion Advertising, Burrell Communications, Austin Advertising, the Virgin Islands Energy Office and many other entities. |
